you want to drill the hole on the port side and 1/2''x1/2'' in from the port side rear corner..
rex marine has been at this the longest and their website still sucks

Get the simrek no drill, woks greatand bolts right on.

Is that for the pickup or the nut and bolt?

the pick up..once you get the bigger hole drilled you put the pick up in the hole and drill the smaller hole with the allen cap bolt and lock nut...the upper you remove one of the upper cap bolts and install the spacer and put the bolt through the shower head and spacer and torque it to 20 ft lbs..once installed make sure the prop clears the water pick up..if it dont your going to have to trim a little off but it should clear..also measure the one you got,,they are all welded in differant spots so the 1/2 '' x 1/2'' may have to be altered.

Better double check that. Going by the pics, that would place the screw hole off the cav plate
