My 1997 Norcold DE 351D has a bad cooling unit as confirmed by my marine.service guy. This older model is discontinued and no parts are available. The new Norcold models do not match the dimensions to fit my cutout space. He is recommending we switch to a Vitifrigo refrigerator even though it isn't a perfect match.. These units are not cheap but my issue is the fit. Has anyone else found a replacement that works nicely?

The Vitifrgo model fits the space. It is quiet and seems of very high quality. I would recommend it to anyone facing this situation.

Which Vitrifrigo model did you get to fit in the same opening as the Norcold. Where did you buy?
