Default Opinions of Renegade powerboats?

I've never seen one on the water or been on one, but they seem to be similar to Concepts with the fancy paint jobs and "go-fast" look.

I'm looking for real experience opinions. Trying to figure out if it would be a good boat for us in Florida. Would like to be able to do poker runs, fish and use it for a "ridin around" boat.

Craig. Renegade is building me a 32 right now to be complete by the end on this month. We have 4 of them in FMO and they are great boats. The owners of Renegade have been great to work with on this project. If you are at Cape Coral now I can get you out for a ride on one of the local ones there. Paul speaks very highly of his. After I get Jay settled back in Naples later today I'm heading over to Miami tomorrow to check on the progress and you are welcome to come along. Just a day trip returning to Marco by evening. Let me know.
Must run now. Heading for the airport.

Bob

Here is pic of one doing the BVI poker run. Also Jay has lots of great pics.

Does anyone remember the red center console that was at Sea Isle 2 years ago at the Miami Boat Show? I can't remember if it was a Renegade or not. It was all the way up in the SW corner of the slips/marina. It was a really good looking boat and well laid out.

Seems like it'll be a 36' Concept or a Renegade when we're ready here in a few months, both nice boats and very similiar.

No, we're getting a condo back at LOTO for just the four Summer months (mid May - mid Sept) and she'll be heading back up North after the 2013-14 FMO season next Spring, probably sometime in April or May 2014 she'll be headed back and we'll be wanting something like one of these CCs, they both seem very good salt water boats, we'll be down here for the rest of the eight months of the year, we love it down here.
