Default 28 Daytona Build

Hey guys, I just picked up this 2003 28' Daytona that was derigged by it's previous owner before it was repo'd. Unfortunately he took a few things of very little value and will be a PITA for me to figure out how to put it back together. I"m going to need some help along the way. That's where you come in.

Here is how she looks today. I will get some more detailed pics of the dash and the engine compartment tomorrow with my DSLR.

Everything from the dash was removed with the exception of the throttle/shifters and the hydraulic helm. If anyone has a '03 28 with twins that is willing to share pics let me know. I think that that will be my best bet to figure out this jigsaw puzzle.

Here is a pic of the dash. I have labeled what I am guessing it right based on a quick online search. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also there is space for 4 more gauges next to the throttles on the starboard side of the boat.

Here is the closest thing I have seen to what I am working with:

That sucks when people strip boats like that knowing they are going to be repo'd. If that isn't premeditated I don't know what is! Maybe you could call Bob Leach@ Eliminator & give him the hull # to see what the boat was originally equipped with. Randy

You'll probably need to cut a couple more holes in it for boost gauges...

Looks like a tilt rack/cable helm to me?

Cloud, it is tilt yes but deffinatly hydraulic. Why he left an expensive helm and the shifters and throttles but took the fuse pannels is beyond me.

Probably because he didn't have the right tools in his stolen craftsman box or didn't have the time before the repo men arrived. Either way at least you lucked out on a couple of spendy items. Did he cut the hoses or take the fittings loose? What about the wiring? Randy
