I just seen on a recent Mercury blog called “vital fluids” they are recommending there Verado 25w-50 synthetic blend oil for their HP525’s and up. This oil was originally for their 4-stroke Verado outboard engines. Has anyone done any analysis on this oil and how it might rate to their 25w-40 synthetic blend oil? I assume it would be fine to use in all marine sterndrives.
