Default magnum 27 sedan

thinking of finally purchasing a magnum 27 sedan. currently has Chrysler 360s with Volvo drives. Do you think it is worth it to rebuild current engines and leave as original, or go for updated power? If updated power what engines would work with current Volvo drive arrangement?

Nothing wrong with Volvo drives, my 5 classic offshores have them, as well as many on the Magnum forum.. The Chrysler engines may cost more to redo as there are many Chevy engines that could easily replace them for less cost.

This one was for sale years ago down south, it was on boat trader then. I don't have any other info on this one. Not many Sedans were made with Chrysler power. I have posted one thats on ebay this week in the Magnum forum.

My understanding is small blocks are the best set up for most Mag's.....however the Starfire's had big blocks I think? We have a pair of 454's that came out of the Mirage that are complete. From flame arrestor to oil pan. They are 454's hydrologic lifters. the seven cylinder on the port motor is burt. The starboardis fine. We would make a great deal for you if you think those would work?

Original is always cool!...Volvos rule. And if it has Chryslers....that's cool too!

Me personally, I like the old school stuff. I would keep the volvos and chryslers. But that's just me.
