i want to build a 41 apache with arnesons and diesel power, im wondering how much hp with gas engines it takes to make a full cabin apache run 80 mph? thx, rm

Apache Warrior ran upper 70's with 750's, short stagger on 3A's.

I agree, my last 41 full cabin with a/c ran 72 any day with the best of 74.2 with 572's and #3's that dyno'ed at 620 hp at 5000rpm and with the props I had on it turned 5000 at full throttle.

So what does a side-by-side 41' pleasure with 3A's and 1025 Gellners run? :-)

A 36' with 850's and BMax's runs 92.3 in calm water.

Skater 399V goes 85mph with 600hp cummins, 2spd and arnesons.

It would go faster but it's out of engine rpm and pitch, a different ratio and this boat would be in the 90's easily. The engines are stock 480's not the 6.3L 600's
