Default Who's Making a well built good Running Wake Board Boat?

I have a really good customer that is looking to get a new wake boarding boat...he currently has a 22ft AXIS which built by Malibu and it has been an absolute nightmare. What do you guys recommend? thanks

Mastercraft, Tige, and Supra. All really great boats.

What has been going on with it? I've seen a few on the lake this summer and thought they at least looked pretty good.

A buddy of mine has a 2002 correct craft air nautique. It seems to be a pretty solid boat, no issues in the 200ish hours he's put on it (350 total)

That being said, I can't stand ski/wakeboard boats. Slow, rough, ****ty range.... *yawn*

Boats are boats and any brand can have issues. I have a Malibu and its built pretty damn good. No real problems other then little stuff. I have heard horror stories about all Brands.

I have not been in a Axis but would recommend a Malibu any day. Axis is the low end of the Malibu line.

My second choice would be Mastercraft but you will pay more for the same that you could get from Malibu.

You got to go mastercraft or correct craft. The new mastercrafts offer ilmor power and are on the leading edge of technology. The X-25 is a great all around boat. My brother has an X-star with 600 hours and not a single problem. The new G23 from natique is the best wakeboard boat I have ever rode behind, freaking crazy wake!

X-series Mastercraft with the hand built 7.4L Ilmor. Join the Ilmor family! Does he want a pic of the engine assembly room to help with his decision? Good luck with the purchase, let me know if he has any questions.

This is like one of those car threads where everyone says: BUY A FERRARI! Likely there are some other concerns for this guy. Like price, ride, activities, looks, etc. Of course Madtercraft rocks but it's likely not that easy.
