The boats have ended up with different housings and light options over the years. My personal boat takes "194" car bulbs to which I swapped out to "194" LED bulbs. Best thing to do would be to snag a picture and post.

I cant get pic right now the fixture is about a 2 by 2 square white with a half moon front I went to auto store found one close got it was to short to fit

That's what they call a festoon bulb Check out superbrightleds online and they'll have the LED version you'd want and you can get them in various colors I went blue but the cool white throws nice blue hue light
