Default Whats the best way to "freshen up" dull stripes on the hull?

Bought a older (1993) powerquest, gel coat is shiny but the 1993 dark plum colored strip is DULL and boring, seats have nice bright silver and purple and white colors, want to change the dull ass plum color to match the catch bright purple on the seats... Question is what is the best way? paint? new decals? I'd like to just cover them with the EAXCT same stick on graphic in purple but how would you get it exactly to match the existing? or would just painting a new stripe be the way to go?? ideas?
thanks in advance .....
Steve

A good sign company/graphics company can duplicate the stripes in high performance vinyl and print you a graphic as mild or wild as you want.

Here are some pictures of my partial wrap, you can see the quality and sheen of the graphic!

Yep, you take a good straight on picture of the hullsides and they go from there.

These companies are everywhere. Look up wide format printing. KC must have 60 companies alone that can do this.

That's 100% all me! It's kinda what I do as a side business! You need to find someone local though because they will need to take some critical dimensions for the new to match the old ( unless you want to pay for my airfare!)
