Default 1997 fountain 27 fever value

I am currently looking to purchase a 1997 fountain fever 27ft from a local dealer, and cant really find out what the true value of it is. It has 450hrs on it. It also has the 502 fuel injected motor with headers, k-planes, hydraulic steering, 4-blade prop, and a vanguard trailer with a v block on it. It is a very clean boat. Any help is great fully appreciated, Thanks.

With that many hours I would say get someo to do an inspection. They would be be able to help you make an educated offer. I have one and love it.

I bought a 96 with no trailer and a freshly rebuilt motor last year for 24000. Hope that helps.

Wow, sounds like a pretty good deal if everything else checked out ok and it was clean.

I've been waiting around on the right deal for a 27 or 29 with a single for a while. The values seem to be all over the map. Had a friend sell his 97 last year with low hours and a built 502 for 40k. But also see deals like rootdown got.

OP, what is the dealer asking?

They are asking 28000. It seems like a pretty good deal to me, but I justed wanted to make sure before I did anything.

Check out Pier 57, they have a 27 with 502 and a lot less hours for 25K

25 or 28 is in the ballpark in my opinion for an average shape 27. But 40K!?!?!? I would sell mine in a Heartbeat for 40K! lol Any takers?

One other thing I think really plays into price on just about any older fountain is graphic and interior colors. Its easy to wrap a boat but changing the interior is a different story and pocketbook. Reggie made some badass boats but some of his color schemes were terrible. They haven't posted any more pics of the 27 at Pier 57 but if that interior scheme is the same as a 32 I looked at one time it is TERRIBLE.

Just my .02

No fear if you have any other question feel free to pm me. I've had mine for 2 years and love it. At times do I wish I had a bigger boat, absolutely, but for where I use mine it is a great size.
