Default Removing back to back seats

Guys I know that there are bolts that go through the floor in the base but are there nuts under the floor also?

I want to remove it because I am going to attempt to remove all the metal that hold the cushions and fabricate a top for the base so that people can sit on. I think it takes up way to much space when open and I would like the easy access for storage.

Has anyone done this before?

I think my old 242ss (1989) had lag bolts holding down the port side b/b seat base.

I had a regal I took back to backs out of, they were just screwed into the floor with stainless lag screws. back one out, if it's machine thread, then will have nuts I would think.
