I'm pretty sure I had an oil pressure sending unit go to ground on the port engine this past weekend (the needle is pegged), so I need to change it out after confirming with a multi meter. I know there's two sending units; one for the SmartCraft and one for the dash gauge - can anyone tell me where the dash oil pressure gauge sending unit is on these motors? '07 35 Lightnin with Livorsi gauges. Thanks!

Usually a pegged guage means something is not grounding. The sender grounds itself by screwing into the block and a wire goes from the sender to the guage.
The guage is also grounded behind the dash.
The normal sending unit for non smartcraft stuff is down by the bottom of the #5 cylinder and threaded into the engine block.
I thought smartcraft stuff used a converter to change the signal from digital to analog and send it to the guage. Not sure if they are all like that or some used standard senders also.
