Default Fuel Leak-6.2 MPI's

I have a fuel leak around the brass fittings connecting the fuel supply line to the front of the cool fuel module. The fittings appear to be tight so i'm planning to take them apart this weekend and reinstall new ones. Here is my question. Their is some sort of white sealant on the threads (on both motors) what should I use to reseal the fittings? Can I use teflon tape or is something else required?

Thanks
Dave

I believe there is an o-ring between the fitting and the fuel pump (module). There is if I am thinking of the same fitting you are describing. There should not be a need or desire to have any sealant on the threads if this is the case. Just change the o-ring.
