I'd like to be there because of the huge gathering of our kind of power boats. However, I wish there was an offshore event that generated as much enthusiasm as this or the Havasu thing does. Seems weird having offshore boats make pure speed runs on smooth water, just seems like they need to be in their true element - rough water. While the displays of horsepower and hulls must be heaven, it's strange that the two biggest annual events are on lakes.

seriously! im watching the live feed. and that PONTOON boat just ran 93!!!! that's hilarious! I HIGHLY doubt i will ever make it to LOTO with my boat. But would be cool to make a vaca trip out there and see what all the hubbub is about out there!
