Im currently in the middle of stringers bulk heads and transom replacment, in doing so with the size of my current dash assembly and helm I was considering converting the existing bathroom area on the 2300 sx on port side and implicating the under the helm area on my chaparral over to a mid cabin by way of fiberglassing the area between the helm and port dash.
Is this crazy has anyone done anything of this nature, From my perspective I dont see it being much more then some core material and some fiberglassing. and of course some sort of front and rear door.....considering most of what i want to do is already dont. the floor is removed down to hull. and i am gearing up to start on the reconstruction of what i removed.

Lol at auto correct, A couple words made it hard to follow. looking at pics of that boat I don't see it as being very hard at all. I assume you have a walk through windshield. if so it might be cool make a cockit door with steps that lifts up for easy access to the cabin and on the bow end add a bench, more seating and storage. then you would go up and over the mid cabin to the bow seating. I actually have some thing similar planned. (an up and over mid cabin)
