Default Please help. I need an expert witness for my TBUS case

http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...lls-sinks.html

I know a lot of you are familiar with this. For those not, please use the link and decide for yourself if someone you know is worthy of referring.

The gist of it....

I beached my boat due to loss of steering....

Contacted Tow Boat Us

They showed up 8 hours later

They sank my boat.

They claim no wrong doing.

I am suing them.

Sorry I can not divulge more on a public forum, but the pictures tell the story of their actions on scene....and their defense.

If you or someone you know are capable of being scrutinized as a "professional" and are willing to testify your opinion
As an expert in a court room in Lee County Florida, please pm me with all relevant info.

Thanks

R

I don't know brownie. Is he a member here?

One member referred me to brad at Tres Martin school. I sent an inquiry. Hopefully, this gets a little traction and sends me to the correct solution. No doubt, the TBUS attorney will source the best "expert" to contradict my expert, so I have to secure a solid "expert" that has little chance to be debunked....

If you're wondering....yeah....sucks to be me right now. At least I can sleep at night as opposed to the other side (defendants)....

You might try other private marine salvage companies....I guess they could testify how a qualified professional would have handled the tow.

You need in expert in towing and salvage, the recommendation made in post #5 would be best suited for your case. Secondly, look for a expert who has previously testified, prepared reports, and teaches with respects to towing and salvage operations, call the Human Resource manager or operations manager at the Sea Tow (or another towing and salvage company) tell them your story and hope that they will recommend someone for you. Whoever is recommended will need to have the necessary experience, education, certifications and overall know-how (best case someone who teaches/instructs) in the subject matter in regards to towing at sea, and salvage of pleasure craft to qualify in court to be considered an expert witness; however, this is something the lawyer should do for you unless you are Pro Se (self-represented), I advise you to get a lawyer involved, just getting the witness qualified as an expert in court is not something so easily done by a self represented plaintiff.
