Went to the shootout for the first time this year (first trip to LOTO too) and feel I would be letting my fellow OSO'rs down if I didn't make this warning. You have to be very wary of a LOTO legend known as the "Rum Runner". It disguises itself as a mellow frozen beverage that tastes great on a hot humid LOTO day. But be warned after a few of these you will be telling yourself thing like that the 3 little cuties that helping to show a boat really have an interest in an old fart like yourself (even if they all smile during the picture). The locals will also try to twist your brain by asking if you would like a floater with your Rum Runner, which is in reality a test tube filled with rum and put in your drink upside down se each sip is a little supercharged. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED


One other thing, if you run into LOTO regulars who live in or near your home town you may be forced into several rounds of back and forth drink buying that will exagerate the effects listed above.

Now all this is just information I heard but have no personal knowledge

The drink called "pain in the ass" is my fiancée fav drink..only can get them at the lake too..

Well that's not exactly true...This sickness has found its way to the east coast, mainly the northern Chesapeake Bay area on the C and D canal, in a place called the Chesapeake Inn, the sickness in question is called a Pain in the ass, and it is also my wife favorite drink, the symptoms for the infected are there voice level will increase, followed bay a nonstop chattering about nothing at all, than a relentless badgering of there companion or any innocent victim around them, followed by a possible removal of article's of clothing.....the last symptom is not bad, that's if the infected in question is someone you don't mind see disrobing, but the rest are a real Pain in the ass...
