I just bout a 2001 Baja 232. The upholstery over the engine hatch is dirty with some rust spots. I have tried mean green industrial strenth,bar keeper's helper,and boat soap. Any suggestions short of replacing?

I use soft scrub with bleach but use a vinyl conditioner right after. I wouldn't use bar keepers on vinyl but it does a great job at polishing stainless.

I tell everyone the same thing ..... Use magic eraser as a last resort. It's not good, it takes layers off. And keep it away from your thread. That being said if you have tried everything and the next move is replace, what can ya hurt.
