as fate would have it some dude i never met (a friend of a friend) left an escalade at my house, with a 420 hp all alum L92 ls engine in it... i think he is going to prison for some screwy land deal in the bahama where they have screwed up title laws... he supposed to be paying me 200 a month, its been here 10 months so far, if he goes to prison that engine's going in some kind of a boat even if i have to buy it a twin brother in the states...lol

all the 377 the car guys build are a 400 bore and 350 stroke for a high revving good rod ratio eng, im surprised merc didn't just build em as a 400 and be done with it....

Mercury wasn't smart enough to start developing engine packages on the ls platform.

Mercury told me 1500 hours. Don't know about that but mine have 320 hours and run as good as new. Only problem has been IAC valves.

Just had 2 apart with 500 hours, did valve jobs and springs. Everything else was mint.
