Any advice would be helpful. I am notice the bow riding very low and lots of porpoise*when trimming out the drives. To eliminate the porpoise I need to cruise at about 3400rpm or more. I used to have a top speed of 70mph two *years ago at wot 4400rpm with original props that came on the boat when I bought it. (maybe they were cuped not sure but had to replace one brand new and the other I *had a local machine shop bang out a ding) now I get 4000rpm wot and hit 62mph (gps) currently have 4 Blade Bravo ones.I am not to concerned with top speed but liked the fuel efficiency of crusing at 2800 rpm and would like to raise the bow. Should I have them cupped or replaced? Currently in Southern Ontario. Thanks

They may need to more cup. You can trying spinning IN also, raised the boat and bow rides a lot higher. I am currenly testing mine IN right now. It holds the bow up nicely with less trim! It rode well by myself, but need to test with normal load. Daughter (5) broke leg, so that has not been condusive to riding in boat! :-(
PS: cupping adds bite and some pitch, so new prop and working the other may have taken it out.

4k sounds too low for WOT you will be running them too lean and missing out on your power. Sounds like you need to drop down in pitch. What props you have now 26p? I would suggest mirage plus 3 blades to get the bow up but the 4 blades will keep you on plane at lower cruise.

You can just swap props and run sticks in reverse. Or you can actually change cables under levers in about 20 min or less. I swapped props and levers so its normal. I need to run mine again and decide which way I want to keep them then lab accordingly based on results.

Are you sure the bow is riding low and its not just an illusion because of the sloped deck? Mine carries the bow just fine. At cruising speed these boats don't need a lot of trim. Running 40 I just give it a couple of bumps. Once you get to 45 and up you can trim a little more. I'm running 26 pitch Bravo 1 4 blades and can hit the rev limiter around 5000 rpm pretty much any time I want. Top speed is 70ish. When the boat is heavily loaded 100+ gallons of gas and 6 people it doesn't like to cruise below 40 (about 3100 rpm for me).

You need the 4 blade 26P, props turning in. My buddy has the same boat and that's what performs best. He tried a set of 25P mirage, handling was horrible.
Get the 26ps labbed. My buddy has seen 74 on GPS (in fresh water). Were in Ottawa, Ontario. He has an '04 29sst with 496 mags (not hos)

Yes just confirmed they are Bravo One 26p, and they are spinning in. Still only getting 4000rpm WOT. I had someone suggest change the Fuel Filters, and Clean the air intake? Could that be it? I was getting 4500RPM just 1 year ago

It could be starving for fuel.. but throw some 24p or smaller and see what happens.. could also be wires too. Heard of them shorting and losing spark and missing on wot could be causing your loss of power. ???
