Default Washington DC Police boat "incident"

Just caught this on KaraokeMike's FB page:

http://jalopnik.com/what-the-hell-wa...ium=socialflow

I can't call that an accident. It looks like blatant reckless operation to me. That whole area for another mile south is a no wake zone. Granted, emergency vehicles are due special privileges, but that is ridiculous.

That location is in NW Washington DC, in front of several somewhat high-end restaurants on the seawall. I've tied up to that same spot dozens of times and I really don't care to ever visit there again. One night I got hit by two different boats in two hours. There are always people kayaking in that area, and it's also where the Georgetown University Crew Team races/practices (walking distance to GU and several other schools). There are always people walking down the boardwalk and traversing boats.

It's a damn miracle no one was killed.

Where is a good performance boating school when you need one?

What a d!ck. He even stayed on the throttle for quite a bit after slamming into the boats. That clown needs to never drive a police boat again.

Stooge, there is no other explanation.

If one of us had done that they'd have called in the National Guard.

if you watch one of the second two links posted you can see what looks to be prop chop marks on the side of the boat and a huge hole where one of the props chopped the boat right open

that was nice driving there
