Granted they won't break 200 mph....but I wouldn't consider a Hydrostream a slow boat.

He really did not trim it up, get in it, and motor away per that video because Hydrostreams are one bad-ass boat which would leave that water-cop in his mist; HOWEVER, I have handled many cases like this in New Jersey (on land), and while I do not practice law in NY, nor do know I NY law, I read where he was charged with reckless endangerment (2nd degree NYS) and 3rd degree Unlawful fleeing, plus the BWI-BUI... he really pissed them off but good. Mistakes happen....

I would love to handle this case.....if it were in New Jersey!

I was out there that night and was stopped by the same police.It was perfict conditions for a flat bottom boat.
