Back again , is their a way i can use my washdown pump or another pump as a backup if the Raw water pump fails and anyone know if thier is an up grade to the pump mine is the one with the fuel pump on it Thanks james

If you are worried that the pump will fail just rebuild it with a new impeller and housing. It will be like new. You should also change the oil once a year.
