Hey guys,
My Snap on Scissor lift cylinder was leaking pretty badly. The pressure seal at the botoom of the piston was pretty beat up. Part number is: Hallprene Fluid Seal R10984S. it's a single acting cylinder, and the dimensions are OD 3 x ID 2.25 x HT 0.562.
Here's a link to it from a New Zealand website. http://advancedseals.co.nz/single-ac...p-6371/r10984s
I'm having a heck of a time getting one locally or online.
Here is a link to the snap-on parts diagram, if I could get ahold of a rebuild kit, that would be even better.

Thanks!

A local hydraulic shop should be able to cross reference a seal that works. Or bring them the seal and they can come up with a replacement then if you want to do it yourself. If bit drop it off to them and have them do it. I've had to do it a few times on some of the things we have at my yard. Between all the loaders, excavators, cranes, grinders, etc we always seem to have something that leaks.

Im surprised they couldn't come up with something else. I have had it happen to me a few times. I have a screen that was manufactured in Europe, so the parts are a little crazy sometimes, including the hydraulics. The shop I use has always come up with something to replace what they used originally. Even if its a different "style" of seal... I have had 4 piece seals replaced by 3 piece, and so on. I would say a different or better versed hydraulics guy could help you.
