Thank you Matt. I shot with David Crute who is the Director of Photography for the televised video for Qatar. Videographers and Photographers share the same vision on getting the right composition. Having shot from the same location over the last few years, this year I decided on a new and perfect location as did David. All would have been perfect until we both saw that the race course had been moved quite a bit further south leaving us no choice but to be shooting into the sun . Out of many years I have shot this event sun was rarely found. Of course on Sunday when I had hoped for cloud cover after seeing the change in the course it had not arrived in time. With a few adjustments in the camera settings, I feel the end results will be just fine . Had a great time swapping stories with David about our recent shoots such as Superstorm Sandy and his stories in Africa. We both had a "Shock " experience so we knew how the content had an effect on us both to the point we stopped shooting until we felt up to it again.

It's kind of funny how I almost didn't come to this race this year.
I found out earlier in the week several of my sponsors were not going to have their boats at this race.
I learn that the Qatar Turbine was to debut so I started to consider going but then was advised Cleveland Construction was going to be there. So now I had two reasons to show up.
Who would have thought I could have caught them all in the same shot !

Thank you.
Yes a nice looking boat . Probably looks great with a lot of light on it. Unfortunately I didn't get that opportunity .
