Hey I'm new to Offshore only.. Iam looking at buying a 1996 Baja 302 with Eagle Trailer and Mercruiser 454 mpi mags with 280 hrs Super Clean boat in Iowa what should it be worth they are asking $35000.00 also are they a good boat? what about Top speed?

For any price start with nada. Banks won't loan over that anyway. Work from that number on what you feel comfortable

Keep shopping. Being new to this understand that it does not have hydraulic steering or k planes. There are plenty of deals out there on newer model boats. That one hits me around 22-25k.
