Default Switches

Does anyone know where to find these switches? Who makes them? They can be LED lighted tip or non-lighted, either one. Thanks.

Switches are made by Carling. There 12Volt Lighted Toggle Switch(s). Not sure if you will find green led ones, the ones I have bought for my Baja were red or clear. Grainger has them for $5 or so. Greatlakeskipper has them for $10, also search eBay.

These are a little expensive but very good quality. Aircraft/marine grade integral circuit breaker. I have them in my boat, not lighted though.

Airpax is the brand

Airpax and Carling both make "switch rated" circuit breakers. I use these on my 12v switch panel so that I don't need separate circuit breakers or a fuse box.

I haven't used the Carling version are they as good as the Airpax? I think they are great also makes wiring easier and better IMO.

I tried looking online everywhere for them but had no luck. I broke down and ordered from Philly.

I own a used Navy boat so they spec either the Carling or the Airpax. I think that they are both very good (same dimensions, I have them mixed in my panel). I agree, the wiring is much simpler and it saves space.

Carling info:
http://www.carlingtech.com/hm-cb-ms-series
"Ideally suited for COTS (commercial off the shelf) military applications, the MS-Series features a durable metal and sealed mounting bushing with MIL-PRF-39019F ingress protection when mounted in a panel." Basically, that says "heavy duty & waterproof".

Not too many place stock them and they don't some in every amperage rating (for a sonar that spec'd 3A, I put in a 2.5A). I bought from from these guys: http://www.bassproducts.com/ just because they made the orig 12v panel in my boat.
