I accidentally put a small break in our fiberglass dock box along the hinge edge. The dock box is long as in around 5', narrow as in around 18-20" and maybe 24" tall. It's far from trashed but definitely needs a little help. What's the best "glue" or other material to repair a split in a fiberglass dock box ?

I.C.U.Lookin, I can appreciate what you're saying. If I had the tools, materials and experience with fiberglass I would be OK with that approach. Also, this is at the marina where my boat lives on a lift. Is there no fiberglass glue that contains the same chemical bonding agent that I can just glue this with. I really don't have the tolerance in the lid to add any extra fiberglass. It likely won't close properly if I add any material as it's pretty tight clearance. Everything is still all together, it just has a split/crack in it now on one end.
Thanks for the input.
