Hi everybody, just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and boat. My dad and I just purchased a 1992 Challenger super V 24, 525hp 496ci built by Contender marine. Anybody heard of them before? they're from MI. Had the boat out for the first time this past weekend and it ran great, got it to about 75mph and still had 600-800rpm left in the motor but needs hydraulic steering for that speed. Bought it from the original owner in MI with 135hrs on the boat. Never even spent a night outside of his garage in 21 years.
