Good Luck to Miss Geico Team U.S.A., this race should be interesting with the Piston Power versus Turbine Power. What happened to Miss Mary Mac?

I don't know why the team decided not to compete in Clearwater, AB, but between a morning confirmation from John Arruda and a text that evening from him stating that they wouldn't be coming, the plans changed. Happens all the time in offshore racing and I understand it. No one makes a living at it.

Hope they make it to Key West ... by all accounts, Miss Mary Mac is one of the fastest offshore raceboats out there.

I have to give Mercury Racing a lot of credit for putting out an engine that might give those gas turbines competition. 1650hp is nothing to scoff at. Love all that high end hp whiz bang hardware.

You are right. You should not be surprised after costing the owner 200K with your careless throttling skills.
