Once being done with the flight of locks in Ottawa how long does it take to get to Montreal? I'll be cruising at 50mph. What are the lock hours? How much do the locks cost?

If memory serves, its about 3 hrs. really nice scenic ride. locks were 0.75/ft last time I went. Where you staying in Montreal ?

Have done Kingston to Ottowa lots of locks alot of low speed zones 2 full days maybe into the 3 rd depending how you hit the locks and how busy....they cram them full on summer weekends take lots of bumbers...but very nice trip. Anybody here ever ran Montreal down into thousand islands area?

The Kingston to Ottawa would be awesome as well. The Rideau Canal would be a fun one to explore.
