Put my 210 LXI with the 650hp DirtyMax up on eBay this week. Summer is over and it's time to get serious about restoring the 38' Cat.
So if ya know anyone looking for a super clean 80mph open bow that gets amazing fuel mileage, point them here.

I typically run about a B50-60 blend, same as the wife's E320 prefers. Runs fine on B100, like any modern diesel, but you lose about 10% power and 4-5mph of top end.
Being the first Dmax boat rigging, there wasn't any cooled manifolds available. So they covered the manifolds and up-pipes in Coast Guard tested "Inconel" gel filled shields. Expensive material, but you can lay your hands on them any time ya want. From turbo out it's water cooled SS. So when I upgraded the manifolds and pipes, I wrapped everything head to turbo pedestal under those shields. Dropped engine compartment temps a good bit. One company now makes water cooled manifolds and up pipes for the Duramax.
The Bravo XR lives because the boat is only 4500lbs and max input speed is 4000R's. Output shaft is IMCO, was replace at like 5hrs I'm told. Respecting it helps too, no wide open hole shots or flying it out of the water.

I am looking for the marine parts to repower with a Duramax but nothing shows up on a google.
