NOS on blown EFI
#1
Any one ever add NOS to a blown EFI engine (or to a standard EFI for that matter). I have a 454 Mag MPI in my 23 foot cat. I am adding a B@M EFI supercharger (been sitting in my garage for 8 mos!). This is going to get me to the low 90's. Whats the point
100 is not far away! I was thinking of adding a small NOS shot or adding a superchiller although I have heard the intercooler is not as effective at low boost levels. Does anybody make a NOS system which has a plate for the Mercruiser EFI? An extra 100hp and a lab finished prop should get me to the promised land

Hey guys, that's what I'm trying to get figured out right now. I'm wanting to run NOS on my N/A 502 and I need to know how much fuel pressure the stock Mercruiser pump that's connected to the raw water pump supplies.

I used to run 1 degree of retard per pound of boost on my last turbo setup. Also, 1 point extra fuel octane per pound of boost has the same effect I have read. Sec agent may know more. I have solved my original dillema. I am going to add a superchiller which will add 50 to 75hp. Then, if I need more I am going to have a little head work done and add some aftermarket exhaust manifolds. this should easily put me over 100

Wait, SR24, Cleveland Oklahoma! I was on Keystone last weekend and saw two HTM's. Was one you? One was an SS the other an SR (you?) I also pulled up to an SR24 about 3 or 4 weekends ago on Keystone by the boat ramp at pier 51 marina and talked to the guy for a second (you?) I have a 23 foot wyatt tunnel with purple, red and black stripes.

Hey OkieTunnel! It was me. I have the purple and blue SR-24. I don't remember talking to you at Pier 51 though. I talked to Wyatt all day Saturday at House Boat Island. He's the one that got my blood pumping about the NOS. The SS-24 is a bad little boat. It is a blown 540 built by Gary Teague. I went for a ride with him a couple of weeks ago at the Thursday night get together and with 5 people we were running 100.

? I bought a sniper kit for my carbed motor but every body I know said it would be a waist in a boat
