anyone have any suggestions on decent cams for 454 mag MPI looking for something that the factory tuning can still handle but gives some decent numbers from mid to high end the only suggestions i have gotten was the crane 168731 cam coming into winter im looking for something to do but not break the bank also looking for a good choppy idle as well lol that sound everybody likes haha

the merc manifolds will need to be replaced with headers or a good aftermarket manifold setup,the computer will also need to be reprogramed.it starts to get expensive before you spend a cent on the camshaft itself.

I've built a lot of drag motors but not boat motors I've noticed that marine headers are pretty pricey anyway around that? How do I go about tuning the computer does it have to be sent out or is there some sort of off the shelf tuning available? Thank you
