Yes they did it was 65' and called the Thunderchief and had surface drives on it.

i read an article a year ago about a chris craft employee who actually did make a swimming pool out of an old mold that chris craft was going to destroy, he gave them $100 and agreed not to pull any hulls from it. It worked.
