unless they used more than 1 boat for the movie, pretty sure this 1 is not it. The one in the movie had a remote spotlight on the bow, and I really don't recall the swim platform.

I thought all big blocks would at least run a TRS or a bravo? I was under the impression that anything over 400hp would scatter an Alpha

I think the 454/ alpha was a one year package in 1988 or so. Ive seen in on Scarab Panthers. The bravo came out in 1989 perhaps. But in looking at that boat, if you couple Alpha drives with 4 blade props in a heavy boat with big blocks, you have a ticking time bomb on your hands, that will very soon detonate.

I just watched the movie and everybody EXCEPT the boat owner is correct, The movie boat did have a bown spotlight and it did have the black interior (must have been hot as Hell on a nice day). I guess it is just like all the other joe smucks out there that are trying to sell their POS all fast boats are "Cigar" boats.
