Misc. TRS Transoms, Hynautic Hydraulic steering, Etc.
#1
I am still trying to part out the old scarab, and need some funds to buy this guys engine. I have both TRS transom assemblies from the boat, pretty good shape, lower swivel bearing is a little worn, But a new one would fix it, its not all corroded etc. Also have the air over hydraulic complete steering system with plates for the TRS. only thing missing there is a Tie Bar. Helm, lines ( brass ) rams, tank etc.

( sold it with the drives ) but the rest of the complete steering system is there, I can try and add some pics tomorrow as they are on a different computer or I can email them to you [email protected]

If by " gimbals " you mean the full transom assemblies, Yes . I would like to sell them, they are still in the boat, I do not know that I would want to take them apart to sell only the gimbal ring etc. What are you looking for ? These are really in nice shape. I don't know how familiar you are with them but there is an actual needle bearing in the lower part of the Gimble Ring, and I would probably want to change those out. There is a small amount of slop there, Not Bad, I have done these where the whole bearing is missing and all the needle s are gone etc. wobbling alll over the place. These are really pretty good

The drive shaft universal joint broke on the drive shaft and tore up the inside of the gimbal. The rest of the assembly was ok. But you are right, I might as well change out the whole assembly.
Do you have a price for them?
Thanks
John
