Default Windshield on a 88 240 sport..

I want to powdercoat the windshield on my 88 240sport.How do you get the glass out so I can do the metal?

Just drill out the pop rivets in each corner. It will come apart after that. Be careful doing it.

The Baja 220 Sport used the same windshield as the 240. Add some auto tint to the inside of the glass while you have everything apart.

THANKS...do you know what was used to hold the window in the frame? The rubber stuff..and where can I get new stuff at?

TaylorMade is probably the only place for Marine. You could try a glass window shop.

Well screwed up the plastic piece that goes along the bottom of the front glass..no idea where ill find that at...
