Wanting to replace my steering actuator assembly on my 93 Bravo and found this new genuine unit. Part # 806034-A1.
Pic:

It appears that maybe mercruiser decided to revise this new part as it differs from my OEM unit. Will this work? Says it supersedes #865383A02 & 866200A01.
My current unit lists part # 806034A01. The unit I posted above appears to be a "Gen 2". Do these supersede the older 1st design which is no longer in production? Thanks

I cant see piks at work to be 100% sure but I am 99.99% sure..I just did this on mine. the newer part # is much cleaner and is pretty much a direct swap..at least mine was. Got mine new on ebay for $70 bucks if I remember right.

My old one has ugly bent steel lines connecting the hydraulic circuit. I figured they revised it, but I want to be sure the steering cable will fit. Appreciate you responding. I found this unit on eBay for $99 brand new. Figure I'm rebuilding the boat so why chance having a leak or worn out actuator that's s PITA to get to after new engine goes in. It's 20 years old, and high time for a new unit.

My understanding is that the unit pictured will fit both your inner transom plate and steering cable. Your steering hose (pump to actuator) has a different end on it and will not fit. I believe you would need to replace the hose with an updated one. Maybe an expert can weigh in here.

Correct you need to buy the pressure and return hoses from mercruiser
And don't try to buy adapters to make them work . They are not available
And others have tried and failed new hoses are about 100 .00
