Default 38 cigarette 380 trim tabs

I am going to put 380 K-planes on my 38 Cigarette with ITS. Will the inside rear corner of the plates need to be trimmed to allow the drives to clear when cornering??

Is there a template or measurements on where and how much to cut off ? What method do people use to cut the plates with??

i have an 03 38 xr sport masters with its and 380 tabs they have never been cut
and clear w no issues

Looks like you might not need to. Probably best to put the plates on and see if they need trimmed or not. I'm curious Why would some need it and others not?

my boat was an original 280 boat also .we changed them to 380 s at brand x in fla .i will admit we thought we had to cut them as well but aft 3 years of running never had an issue .
