History: Outerlimits just lost an engine, race is still live. Each year looks promising for the OL camp and each year something breaks, history keeps repeating itself in this class.

When I use my Droid phone and click on the Speed on the Water links they come up blank. What do I need to add for it to work correctly?

RIVALARY? The Fountain twin engine boats win each year in Key West, the Ourterlimits is undeniably fast but can't seem to get it right for three races in a row. It is a shame for the OL camp, they will continue to be the fastest boats on the internet while the Fountain boats are still winning on the race course,even when the company hasn't made a race boat in many years. Joe Sgro will find a way to win, he has been there and done that for many years, and I have enjoyed watching him race since when he had his B class raceboat "Fever." If anyone will be able to do break-through for the OL boats it will be him.

One of these years a twin engine OL boat will score enough points to win the World Championship in Key West.

The OL Team dominated in Race #1, and after the first 7 laps had a Championship in sight, but again fell short. You are correct, they seem, to have the best boat year after year, but it is not how fast you go , but how long you go fast in boating.
The OL SV/SVL team has demonstrated a different polarity in racing, and dominated every race for the past 2 years.

End of another great season, it will be interesting to see how many of these boat go up for sale, or change owners in the next few months.
Maybe some of the older historic boats will continue to fade away and safer race boats enter the competitive circle

one also has to wonder if that OL was quick cause it has new merc power vs. the rest of the field on 1075, bbc blower or Ilmor power?

Twisted metal has 850 merc and Lucas has 1075 merc and instigator has single carb NA 537 inch scorpion racing engines.

So then the OL had significant HP/torque advantage, spinning a smaller prop to limit top speed, but a huge acceleration advantage....?
