Not only did his Boat dominate in Key West but "Doc" Janssen was awarded the Golden Eagle trophy given the to the team that demonstrated the highest level of excellence during race week. This is the most prestigious award that a team and team owner can receive during race week. The performance that Doc and Brian Forehand put on in the Snowy Mountain Brewery Outerlimits was impressive to say the least. Awesome job Doc!!

Outstanding Performance,, to a wonderful looking boat ( the colors are amazing to photograph), and for a first class team,,,.

They dominated with 3 consecutive world championships in this class, and inspire other teams to upgrade .

At the KW Street party, I interviewed a few teams that all have plans to bring newer, safer boats to this fleet next year. The older boats will soon retire.

When they (SBI) presented Doc with the trophy they said the award had been given out for many years (all the way back to the Don Johnson days).....I am not sure if they award it every year or not
