Default Qatar’s Sheikh Hassan Still ‘Committed’ to Domestic Offshore Racing

As a postscript from last week's SBI Key West Worlds, some good news for offshore racing, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...ffshore-racing.

Thank you Qatar for all the effort you put into your team. You guys are awesome. Never forget the option to yank the turbines and install piston power to go head to head with Geico. That would be amazing to watch. Fans relate better to piston power. I'm not convinced until similar R&D that was spent on the Abrams tank is done, turbines and boats will ever go well. And remember the turbine Abram tank was north of a billion dollar buget. And oh yea with teams to maintenance them daily they still break.

He'll stick around at least until he beats us, so it will be a while
