Default Donzi Announces 50th Anniversary 50ZR!!!

Just kidding but I wish!! Got bored this evening and took the 43ZR line drawings and photoshopped a 50ZR. Would be sweet!! I'll keep dreaming.

With it being a 50 I think there is plenty of room for the set of bolsters between the front and rear seats that you have in the second drawing. Are you accepting deposits

I think this would bring Donzi back to life. It would at least be a better attempt than their partner Baja is doing. I still cringe at the thought of Donzi and Baja being partners.

They are better off leaving the name to die than letting baja build there boats.

I thought it was a 50th anniversary wakeboat edition Donzi 22 Classic with outboard power and a great big cooler in the back. No more plain jane stripes either. This baby is gonna have some serious stick on graphics. Can't wait to see it at Miami.

I like the second drawing and have the option to have second set of bolster sets turn and can add a table for better hanging area between back seat and bolsters. This gets put away when it's time to fly! I won't be able to go to this option because it would not fit in my boat house! I guess we could always do an addition.

The first one is the 43ZR drawing from donzi. I simply used photo shop to stretch and decorate the 50

I have the 38 comp drawings now too. Maybe my next down time I will make a 50 comp. I was talking to Doug valentine and Lee McKinnon (ex Donzi racer and rigger) and they said they actually made a top deck for a 43 ZRC back in the late 2000's but never assembled it due to Donzi not having racing in their budget anymore with the economy. Supposedly it's sitting at the Sarasota plant still.

Seriously! There's a company that's had its fair share of up and downs!
