Default Old Kaama brocure

Ran across this in a box in a desk that hasn't seen the light of day since the 90's lol thought it would be cool to put up. Anyone know when they stopped production of this drive?

I heard mercury bought everything and stopped production. Control of the market I guess. Just a rumor that I heard.

I believe it was early 90's. I bought my Kaama Scarab in 89' and they were still in production, but in trouble.

We have a customer with a 302 Formula and a set of those drives. Boat runs great. One locked up, the torque of the engine ripped it off the back of the boat and she sank
One full restoration, two rebuilt KAAMA drives and fresh blower motors later that old Formula is the ultimate sleeper at 90+

730hp a side. Mild Blower Motors built by Team Saris. The boat handles it amazingly well too, super stable! Neat boat. Ill see if I have any pictures
