Cool Thinking of a formula 311 sr1

I sold my 25 outlaw and am looking into a bigger boat just wondered if anyone had any thoughts. I am interested in the larger cabin, not sure I want twins, what speeds can be excepted out of stock 330's?

Guess I'm going to have to change my name on here

311 with 330's is only a 62 mph boat but will run in anything and have all accommodations, if its not all about speed the 311 is a great boat,

Have to laugh... I never did change my name.
Went from a single engine Baja to the 311. Absolutely love the boat!!! Great lines, awesome ride, and very accommodating cabin for a 31' boat - really a 33. It will be a whole different ball game from your Baja.
As you've probably read, it takes a LOT of power to make the 311 go fast.
The 330's will push you along at MAYBE 60 or 62 with 3 blade props and your cruising speed will suffer. Four blades are much better for everyday use as this is what most run with the 311 I think. Now your going high 50's. If you're locked on a 311, you might want to look for one with mags - just my opinion.
Either way, you will be very happy with the 311. It really is a great boat!!!

Sounds like a fun road trip, I purchased my 272 which was about 750 miles away. If you don't have time to drive out, then look at u-ship.

If you are also looking at 292's as well, mine is listed in the classifieds. Very clean and lots of recent upgrades to electrical/eletronics.
