OK everyone please spread the word and share this page! Wednesday, January 1st, 2014. Sarasota NEW YEARS DAY FUN RUN! Leaving the Sarasota 10th St Ramp at HIGH NOON. Heading north up Sarasota Bay, through Cortez, out on to Tampa Bay and into the Manatee River to Tarpon Pointe Grill for lunch, drinks and FUN! It is about 26 miles each way from the 10th St Ramp. I am sure there will be lots of people that run south to meet us from across the Tampa Bay Area. We usually do a smaller run around Sarasota Bay on New Years Eve as well for those that get in early. Any and all are welcome to join in!

Trying to get that day off work to join in the fun. Wont know till it gets a little closer. Sounds like a great run though.

If I do get off we will run from the Gandy ramp near Hula Bay and meet up with everyone.

I think FMO has 25 plus boat going as well. We are in for sure !!

We do have many fmo members that come up for this event but not 25.
Last year we had 5 or so come up. Always a great run.

Just so there is no confusion, FMO has scheduled it's event on Saturday December 28th to avoid conflict with Ryan's most excellent New Years Day fun run. Several FMO's enjoy going up each year and speak very highly of it. If the weather is miserable on the 28th our rain date is Jan 1st.

Sounds good. We are coming south from Clearwater by way of water but could always just shoot over to the docks after the run. Hope to see every one there!
