have it surveyed, not sure what they are worth but the couple i've seen were extremly poorly built. they run fast but the superstructure was put in fir sh!t. not trying to knock the boats just a heads up.

deals like this you have to work the equation backwards..........

1. What is the boat worth finished/running condition?
2. Subtract the parts/labor costs to get it to that condition
3. Now you have the hull/trailer value and don't be surprised if that number is negative!

I'll be dammed! I was wondering what happened to her. I paid 17k with one blown powerhead. The DICK who sold it to me blew it after the sea trial and neglected to tell me. Karmas a ***** TODD a "lawyer" out of northern Atlanta! I sold the boat at 10:30 at nite in my side yard. Two guys drove up from florida gave me 13k rigged minus power and poof she was gone. I wondered if they ever got it up and running. The floor was soft and its a Kevlar boat so, as glassdave stated the layup is pretty sad, but, the boat was solid when I sold it. With twin 260s' it was a solid mid 80 mph boat. The gelcoat was almost flawless. The trailer had a bent axle ' YES Todd the axle was bent when I asked you".
She was a nighmare for me being my first performance boat. The previous owner Todd didn't take care of chit and the engine builder I contracted DAVID POU of DP Marine in Chapin SC (CROOK) rebuilt one powerhead and put used pistons bearings, seals and ground down reed cages for me in the other for 10k. You will get yours POUHEAD!
Good luck with the purchase. Overall the boat was solid except for the floor. I never checked the transom, but, would definately recommend a survey as transom replacement could be costly.
