Default Winter Project - Trim Tab Gauges

I have a 1989 Formula 242 SS with the stock Bennett trim tabs and I would really like to install the trim tab gauges that show their position.... Has anyone every done this project? Is it a difficult job? Worth it? Advice?

I have no idea what it even entails just yet...... figured I would get the advice of some Formula owners first.

Thanks in advance...

Mechanical indicators would be best. Do you have a mechanical indicator for the outdrive?

I used the Lenco switch with led indicators on my Donzi and they worked perfect. Easy install and all done at the dash.

eBay Bennett eic5000 comes with meters for rams, wiring, a new led indicator with control buttons and a automatic retract when ignition is turned off. About $335 delivered if I remember correctly. I think I will go this rout.
